  • ABUSE OF AUTHORITY: Now-fired Leon County Deputy Mark Thompson's defense for almost beating his wife to death -- get this: Judge is asked to believe that in order to "defend himself and to remove the gun from his homicidal/ suicidal wife? Mark Thompson had to handcuff her, drag her across the floor, break two bones in her arm, break both of her eye sockets by punching her face repeatedly, crush her spleen to the point it had to be surgically removed, kick her up and down her body leaving multiple bruises. Anyone believe him? I sure as hell don't. His department fired him, so it seems like nobody else does either. Wow. What a scumbag. He's using "police logic", where you beat someone to help them. Police are 4 times more likely to commit domestic violence. And if he was so innocent -- why did he threaten to kill himself during the police standoff to arrest him? Maybe the cops should have beat him just as badly to prevent him from killing himself? Haha.
