ELECTION PREVIEW: Tax increase would benefit senior services

Voters will decide whether to approve the Senior Citizens Service Fund in the Aug. 5 election. If the tax measure passes, it would increase property taxes by 5 cents per $100 of assessed valuation to provide services for people 60 and older.
